I grew up in a very musical family. Music always playing or being played by someone. My Papa played the saxophone and during the 1940’s he traveled with a big band. My uncles…both amazing musicians and accomplished in both folk and bluegrass music. My beautiful mother with her singing voice. My sister Amy is an extremely talented singer/songwriter and has recorded.
Then there is Angela…who missed the gene pool for the musical gifts. The camera is my instrument of choice.
I caught some photos of my dear youngest daughter practicing her violin tonight before the sun set. She is on her way I believe…she has such a love for music and can belt a showtune. These were fun so I thought I would post a few.

Taking a bow after accompanying the beautiful sunset on her violin.

Beautiful…perfect word for this family, and they are both inside and out. I have photographed Alex, Stacy and the kids before. Today, as we did last time, we photographed on location and in the studio.
I can’t say enough how much I love my job. I have the most wonderful clients and the time I get to spend with them truly blesses my life. Oh…and the bonus is that I have the privilege of watching children grow (and families too!). Sneak peek for Stacy and Alex!

Olivia was done….gotta love this one.

This adorable little man is being Christened this weekend. Mom and Nonna brought him to the studio for some portraits to document this special time.
The session was wonderful…well…until we put the gown on him. He was thinking… “As long as I have this dress on I am not going to cooperate..I am a boy!”. We did get some nice smiles though and we had some good laughs too.
Enjoy these Lidia…Best Wishes.

I have photographed quite a few sets of twins. These are the first identical twins this year. The guys were full of smiles and giggles (thanks to dad being goofy with the ball). I bet they will be crawling in the near future….mom and dad are going to be on the run soon!
Enjoy the preview Danielle and Ryan! Thank you for bringing the boys for a session.

For those who follow my blog….I have been photographing Owen this past year at his milestones and you will recognize him from previous entries. He is one of my baby plan babies! I have had so much fun watching him grow from about 2 weeks old to a big boy at 1 year. When I documented some of his first real steps (series below), I became a little teary. Getting to know Ginny and Stefan has been great and they are such wonderful parents. Below are images from Owen’s 1 year session. We photographed both on location and in my studio.

Part 3 of my day in Philly this past weekend. I had done some commercial work for Michelle at Scarlet Fiorella (13th and Samson) in Midtown Village earlier this year. When she contacted me to photograph her models during the Midtown Village Fall Festival I had to go. Many great events and activities for those attending. As I have mentioned in my blog before…if you ever get a chance to visit Scarlet Fiorella you will fall in love with Michelle’s store.
Here are a few from the day… (my little blondie below loved trying on all the cool clothes!)
Great job kids!

It was wonderful to spend some time in the city photographing 2 new families. I love city sessions. Wonderful locations and lots of fun.
Meet little Miss “T” and her mommy and daddy. I am excited to have them to the studio soon! Here are some of my favorites so far…
Oh…how about this orange pancho? Just adorable, great choice Tracy!

What a cutie she was! Traveled to Phoenixville to photograph this special girl. She was so funny…a little mover and shaker. Welcome new member of the baby plan! Stay tuned for more photos of Joey this coming year.

Special dress from Grandma.

Your daughter is beautiful and so are the photos. Love the two in color best.
Hey, sweetheart….you are so in the our family’s “musically inclined gene pool”. You have EXCELLENT TASTE in music, and you carry a tune
quite well, even if you don’t believe it. You know that your
Dad can play the guitar, but, did you know that YOUR Nana taught herself how to play a ukulele when she was in her thirties?
Ferron is incredibly photogenic. She is more beautiful each time I see her…even when she doe’s her famous pout-face. The violin is the perfect instrument for her. Nana saya practice..practice..practice.
You’ll never regret it.
Angela, I didn’t think it was possibe for your photos to get any better, but the growth of your talent is truly evidenced by the depth
and quaility of your work.
LOVE YOU, MOM
Ange, your pictures in the sunshine are always gorgeous! Aw I love Ferron dearly! : ) You guys are great. Again, I appreciated it so much that you came to the city with me yesterday. Chels
