Welcome to my blog! I am Angela Pursell and I am a photographer located in Doylestown Pennsylvania. Here you will be able to view my most recent sessions as well as read about studio news and announcements. You may also get a little peek into my life as well.
I photograph in both my natural light studio and on location. I have been photographing children and their families for over a decade and feel blessed to be able to watch little ones grow up through the lens of my camera.
As you look through my blog you will be able to see my passion for child and family photography. I invite you to also visit my website to view more galleries and to find detailed session information.
Feel free to leave a comment or subscribe! I would love to hear from you.

Just thought I would post an entry and share some exciting news from the studio! The fall portrait season is approaching and my schedule is already getting busy!
Stay tuned for….a new website & blog, portrait/digital file collections, previews for new boutique items including photo jewelry, handbags, tiles and storyboards. I am also partnering with the most amazing album company and I am thrilled to offer their line of products. Absolutely first class.
Exciting news! My work will be showcased at a new boutique here in Doylestown (images to be installed the beginning of the week). O’Bambino offers the latest in pregnancy, infant and nursing products. Owner Andrea Agostinetti has put together a wonderful collection of products for the expectant mother and her newborn. Fresh and fun items, great gift ideas and a selection of organic and “green” products. Oh…there is also a nursing room for breastfeeding mothers. How cool is that! I will be at O’Bambino participating in First Friday Doylestown with Andrea on both August 1 and September 5. You can find O’Bambino located at 19A Donaldson St. Doylestown. Stop in and say hello!
Studio Open-house date to be announced soon. Details to follow!
That’s about it for now. For my out of town clients here is my new toll free number: 888-614-9532.
Cheers!
Angela
Early morning in Philly! This little guy is on the go! Nate reminds me of my oldest son. I remember watching Nick (now 21 yrs old) run in circles when he was little. When he was finished running in circles he would keep running in any direction he could go. We nicknamed him “tumbleweed” because he kept going and going and going. He was so funny.
My session with Jamie, Darren and Nate was wonderful. It was pretty cold when I came to visit Nate and his family during the winter. Today was perfect for an outdoor session in the city.
A special thank you to Ginny, Stefan and Owen (who has adorned many of my blog pages) for referring me to their upstairs neighbors!
Here is a little preview! Enjoy!

I had to include the image below because this is how we did the above shot. Nate would have jumped right in the pool if he could have!

Some love from Zoe.

…this is my other passion. And to answer the question from my “smarty pants” client….no, I do not garden in the middle of the night. :)

a·dor·a·ble adj.
Delightful, lovable, and charming: what an adorable baby.
Worthy of adoration.

This session was specially timed. Christine’s brother was home for a short time from serving in Iraq. The planets aligned and our session was able to take place finally! I truly enjoyed time spent with this family and I think we got some great images. What do you think?
:)

Did you really think I was going to post more from this session?
This is the first of a few overdue blog entries. Things have been a bit busy and I had to deal with some unexpected computer issues. I am back in the swing and working to get caught up! It’s goin’ to be a late one!
Andrea and Mark live in NC. Even though we had a lot of correspondence over the months we had not met in person until last week. We had our meeting at one of my favorite places…The Kids Castle in Doylestown. If you have not been there and live in the area it is a must! We both have kids so it was perfect! My kind of meeting! It was fun.
The wedding was this past Saturday morning. A morning full of joy and wonderful moments. Lovely.
Here are a few from the morning.

…beautiful bride.

…in remembrance of Mark’s father.

Check back a little later today for a few new entries! I will be posting the sneak peeks from the weekend. It was a wild and wonderful one. 1 wedding and 3 sessions! Honestly…some of the cutiest little ones ever.
Little PSA…my router died on Saturday night. I will have a new one Tuesday at the latest. Verizon is the only dealer for the one I use so I will be waiting for the UPS truck with much anticipation! Galleries will be uploaded when I am back online for those who are waiting. I am on Jeffy’s work computer right now.
Also…email will be limited today. Please call me if needed!
I hope everyone had a great weekend!
A.
Look at this little man! Nicolas is 4 weeks old today. I was so thrilled to visit him at his home early this afternoon for our session. The first thing I saw was this wonderful head of hair. So adorable.
Here are a few from our time together. More to come! I have a wedding to photograph tomorrow morning and it is going to be an early day.

Here are 2 images from my session with Vincent and Cyndi before the little bundle of hair arrived.

I love the feel of this shoot- you have some fresh pretty photos and then the black and white classic shots. So cute!
Any of those individual photos of Gianna should be submitted to Mini Boden or some other children’s clothing catalog!
