I grew up in a very musical family. Music always playing or being played by someone. My Papa played the saxophone and during the 1940’s he traveled with a big band. My uncles…both amazing musicians and accomplished in both folk and bluegrass music. My beautiful mother with her singing voice. My sister Amy is an extremely talented singer/songwriter and has recorded.
Then there is Angela…who missed the gene pool for the musical gifts. The camera is my instrument of choice.
I caught some photos of my dear youngest daughter practicing her violin tonight before the sun set. She is on her way I believe…she has such a love for music and can belt a showtune. These were fun so I thought I would post a few.

Taking a bow after accompanying the beautiful sunset on her violin.

Your daughter is beautiful and so are the photos. Love the two in color best.
Hey, sweetheart….you are so in the our family’s “musically inclined gene pool”. You have EXCELLENT TASTE in music, and you carry a tune
quite well, even if you don’t believe it. You know that your
Dad can play the guitar, but, did you know that YOUR Nana taught herself how to play a ukulele when she was in her thirties?
Ferron is incredibly photogenic. She is more beautiful each time I see her…even when she doe’s her famous pout-face. The violin is the perfect instrument for her. Nana saya practice..practice..practice.
You’ll never regret it.
Angela, I didn’t think it was possibe for your photos to get any better, but the growth of your talent is truly evidenced by the depth
and quaility of your work.
LOVE YOU, MOM
Ange, your pictures in the sunshine are always gorgeous! Aw I love Ferron dearly! : ) You guys are great. Again, I appreciated it so much that you came to the city with me yesterday. Chels
