lexie.

What a great session earlier this evening. I photographed Lexie when she was 6 months old…now she is over one and such a big girl!

This session was special and timely because on this Thursday Minh is scheduled for a c-section to give birth to Lexi’s little brother. I love the last image in this series from our session. Lexie has her feet on her mommy’s feet….just a wonderful moment.

Everything about this session was magical…  :)

little boy running.

I remember when my boys were around a year old and how busy they were. When Nick (now 21) was little he never slept. I am not kidding…I don’t think he did. I remember watching him run in circles laughing his head off. He would go from thing to thing with such zest and determination. I was always a step behind with my arms stretched to catch him. He was not much older than my small client Jacob. And his parents were just a step behind him today.

There was so much to see at our session location…and he wanted to see it all! So cute. Brings back memories of running after Nick for me.

We were able to catch a few in the studio as well. I really enjoyed my session with Matt, Amy and Jacob.

first day…for ian.

Mr. Sillybritches started pre-school this past week. I had to post these…he was so stinkin’ cute that morning.

I think he is the only child who weeps when he leaves school, usually it is the other way around. I felt compelled to say to his teacher… “He really is happy at home and does have a great homelife”. He has a sweet soul and gets attached to people easily. Goodbyes don’t come easy to my fourth.

He was very proud of and excited about his new backpack.

baby girl.

This beautiful “mama to be” gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.

I was able to visit with them last week for our newborn session. It was great to spend time with Jen and her sweet girl.

Thanks again Jen…

studio.

I love photographing in my little studio! The lighting is amazing, one wall is a window from floor to ceiling.  It felt great to have a studio session with some of my favorite clients over the weekend. Photographing there got me excited for the studio season.

I started photographing Reed when he was Maggie’s age. Somewhere around very little and adorable. He is such a big boy now and his little sister is amazing. Full of smiles!

Chris and Shel…thank you for bringing your kids for a visit!

My little buddy had fun with the vintage cameras. I had to capture this one!

it’s twins!

45.jpgFirst of all a little PSA…

For those waiting for session previews I apologize for the delay. I am getting caught up!  Life has been a bit crazy here and it feels as if there just isn’t enough time in the day (or the night). Thanks for your patience.  :)

I thoroughly enjoyed my session with the “F” family. These twins  were so adorable. I wish I had my video camera at the session just to document mom and dad chasing these cuties all over the place. Would have been perfect for YouTube.

Stay tuned for more twin sessions…. 3 more in the next 3 weeks! Wow! I think I am seeing double!

wonderful family session.

It was a great pleasure to spend time with Cincinnati photographer Melissa Kahn (Priceless Reflections) and her family. This session was a gift for Izzie, aka Mom/Bubbeh. Hope the surprise party was fabulous!

So many great photos from our session…here are my favorites so far while proofing.

Posting more tomorrow! Enjoy these Melissa and all!
