I love evenings like this. This time of the day, just about an hour before sunset, is such a wonderful time to photograph. I am always drawn to the soft lighting at dusk. Just beautiful.
My session with Matt, Julie and their precious kids took place at one of my favorite locations to photograph. Where I live! The barn, outbuildings and bridge provided a perfect backdrop for our session. We were trying to get the chicken to cooperate but she had another agenda. Oh…also frog hunting at the little pond was fun…scary but fun!
I met Julie earlier over the winter at a speaking engagement. We talked after my presentation and have been working on getting together for a while. We had weather issues (very wet spring here), sick kids, scheduling conflicts. Everything fell into place for today! We spoke this morning and agreed that tonight would be perfect…and it was.
I so enjoyed spending time with this wonderful family.
