Ciao!
Oh….I took photos of this monster Poppy in the garden this morning. I will post the photos later. Gotta see this..
Hello blog readers….I traveled into the depths of New Jersey this past Friday morning to visit with my very special clients the B. family. You may recognize them from my blog and website.
I have been excited about this session in anticipation of the birth of a beautiful little girl. I photographed Chel during her pregnancy and have been capturing little Reed since he was 3 months old. He is such a big boy now and also a big brother. I just loved watching him with his new little sister. He was giving her the sweetest kisses!
This new baby girl…so sweet and tiny. Sometimes I forget how little their hands are…

Chel….here is “the shot” in both color and bw.

I was able to spend time with some very special friends of mine today. I have been photographing this family for a few years now and have seen children grow and beautiful babies born. A busy house…naping newborn…homeschooling mom…playing children…a loving wonderful home.

As usual Mr. I was giving me a hand as I was making dinner earlier this evening. The calls himself “The Cooker Man”. He was so darn cute and enthusiatic about shucking corn. I ran to get my camera to snap one of him working hard. It looked great as I viewed it on the display. I thought I would send it along to the grandparents who are far away. Later I opened the image on the computer and noticed Miss Chickie in the background. Again…posing for a photo. She never misses an opportunity. I cracked up, it looked perfectly posed to me.
She is on her own now since her friend sadly departed the farm about a month ago. Now I am her buddy. She knows my car and comes running and flapping when I pull in. She also finds me when I am in the garden. I look up and there she is in the shade, contently watching me work. The other day…. and I am not kidding you, I was in the office working and I turned around and there she was…in the house. One of the kids had left the door open and she let herself in and found me. It was not very long until Rufio the dog woke and escorted her out of the house. I think I mentioned in a previous post that he is on chicken patrol and takes his security job seriously. As for the chicken, I honestly think she would have roosted on the back of my chair for the afternoon if she could have.
We are getting her some feathered friends this next week. I will be sure to post some photos when they arrive. It will be nice to have more than 1 egg a day again!

Just spoke with my host company and found out that my email was down for 2 days last week. I had no idea! It was a bit strange that I was not receiving emails because my box is pretty busy. So..I was not able to send or receive. If you sent me an email and I did not respond I am so sorry! Please resend if possible.
Thanks!
A.
This is the final entry from a busy holiday weekend.
I spent Monday morning with a special family. As I was driving to the session I was wondering, as I usually do, what kind of session it will be and hoping that the outcome will exceed the expectations of my new clients. I arrived at the location site and was blown away at the beauty of the grounds.
I absolutely love watching families together. Charlotte and Pat were great and their precious little ones were not only entertaining but endearing to spend time with. Bubbles and bouncy balls made for some real fun!
Here are some images from our session…

Treasure.

What a weekend! I am getting caught up on the blog! Really I am! When I finish up this past weekend I will post the one before. Kinda backwards but it will be done!
I met another wonderful family this evening. When I met little G I was just amazed at her spirit. She reminds me of my girls when they were little. On the go and determined. You know what? They are still that way.
Danielle and Mike…here is a little preview of our time together. My favorites so far.

…is the day Kristen and Russ are getting married. We had our pre-wedding session this past Saturday evening. They took me to the spot where Russ proposed. I was so touched by this couple. Spending time with them and hearing their story just got me so excited about photographing their wedding.
Can’t wait! Of course I will have my Kleenex tucked into my sleeve…that is a given.

This past Saturday Morning…
I met the R. Family at the studio and off we went to our session location. The morning was just beautiful! A welcome change from all the rain and nasty weather we have had here in beautiful Bucks County PA.
This wonderful family was referred to me through a client I photographed last year. The session was terrific…we photographed on location and at the studio. Here are the results!
Thank you to the R. family for a fantastic morning….got my day off to a perfect start!
(Catching up on the blog! Yay! Stay tuned!)
