I had a great publicity photo session with screenwriter Stephen Susco earlier this month. He stopped by the studio for some headshots he needed for the the debut of the feature Red which had its first screening at the Sundance Film Festival. He is the screenwriter for this film as well as The Grudge and The Grudge 2.
If you get a chance check him out at the above link. He is a terrific person and his family is wonderful. I look forward to seeing them again soon!
Erick is very special to me. He is my son Nick’s best friend. They have been buddies for a long time. He is getting married to the beautiful and talented Brianna this June. We got together to photograph their engagement portraits today. They are getting married in one of my favorite places…Tioga County, Pennsylvania. I feel so blessed to be able to document their special day. I will need to remember to have plenty of Kleenex in my camera bag. I am such a wimp.
Meet Bruce. Today was “bring your dog to work day”. Ok…everyday is “bring your dog to work day” for me. I will share his story with you another time. It’s a good one.
These clients of mine are moving to San Francisco soon. This was our second session and what a wonderful time we had together. I love chasing 2 year olds. I am always up for the challenge and have all my little tricks ready. Little Astrid was a delight as was her little sister Anika. Extremely adorable little girls…
Matt and Inger…here are my favorites so far. (I had a hard time choosing)
The beautiful Amanda stopped by the studio today…
Ten years ago on January 14th my niece Tillie Pearl was born. My only sister Amy became a mother that day. As we were all anticipating the birth of this little girl, none of us knew she would come so early. Tillie was born 3 months premature weighing 1.5 pounds. The family was suddenly thrown into a whirlwind of great worry concerning her survival. So little, tiny and way too early. I flew to Pennsylvania as soon as I could from Chicago to be near my sister and to see this little wonder, this tiny little bird. I could not believe how small she was. As the days and weeks came and went, along with the many ups and downs of Tillie’s condition, she came home after 72 days in the hospital. This beautiful girl who came into this word so small and on such a mission to survive is turning 10 years old next week. Healthy, intelligent, beautiful…a miracle.
Today I photographed another miracle. Nina was born 4 months premature and just a little over 1 pound in size. I was amazed at this little one who is turning 10 months old this week. Being silly, rolling all over the place and laughing at a picture of a rooster (had to be there, lol). Hearing her story and seeing the photos of her at birth took me back. Spending time with Nina and her special parents blessed my day. Every image captured a treasure.
Jason and Judith…enjoy the images of your sweet miracle girl. :)
Happy Birthday Tillie…Aunt Ange loves and misses you bunches. xoxoxo
Here are 2 more of my favorite little people. You may recognize them from my web site galleries as well. Mom brought them in for a studio session today. We thought it would be fun to play in the snow.
Thought these would look great with a little bit of a vintage color…
I had to photograph these. I got a thing for cool shoes!
If you visit my website and go the newborn gallery you will see a photo of this little one. It is the first image you will see. I am photographing him throughout his first year.
I am amazed at how my smallest clients grow and change so quickly. So smiley now….and cute little giggles. I just loved watching him interact with his Mom and Dad today. Just a wonderful special family…I can’t wait until our next session.
