Nicole…2 weeks to go!

You may recognize this beautiful face, those who visit my blog on a regular basis. This is my client Nicole…we had a studio maternity session in November.

She agreed to go outside for something different. When we arrived at the location earlier today we got a bonus…SNOW! We were so excited…totally unexpected!

Here are 2 images from the time we spent together. She is due in 2 weeks! We have another studio shoot scheduled for Sunday evening so be sure to check back to see more.

Special.

I have had the best time photographing siblings for surprise Christmas presents for parents this year. We had a great time in the studio tonight. Spending time with Gina and Mr. T was great! They were so fun loving and close. The parents are going to be so surprised!

I loved the mall story Gina. All I could think about is my own kids trying to pull this off. lol

Here are my fav’s (I had a tough time choosing for the blog)

I constantly shoot during a session…a big part of my goal is to capture relationship and interaction. This is a great shot. Can you guess what is going on? Bet ya can…

Anticipation.

I loved being pregnant. The first child through the fourth. All different and miraculous…each in their own way. I will never forget the joy and anticipation of an upcoming birth. All these memories still vivid in my mind.

My maternity session with Renee was wonderful. Her story of trying to conceive for so long and the eventual outcome in this wonderful pregnancy. The birth day of her little girl is quickly approaching. I am so touched that she chose me to document this special time.

The Canal.

I photograph many families and kids along the Delaware River Canal here in Bucks County. To me…it is one of the most magical locations I take my clients.

Photographing this family by the canal was very special and significant. This session is a special gift for special grandparents. The grandparents are active in a local organization here called Friends of the Delaware Canal. Please visit this link to see the beautiful canal and all the love and hard work put into preserving this local landmark.

I love my work and getting to know families. The reward is huge for me, I take so much with me with every session. I have to be honest…..this was one of the most funnest (ok…not a word but it works) sessions I have had. You all just made my day!

Here is the preview you have been waiting for.  :)

Amy.

It’s days like this that I really miss my little sister Amy. I have mentioned her on my blog before. And it seems that it is always on days that I photograph sisters.

Amy is an artist…not to be prejudice but she is an extremely talented singer/songwriter. She wrote a song about our relationship that was released in 1994. Here are some of the lyrics. I think this song sums up so many sister relationships and their ups and downs.

Angela..they said that when we grew up we’d see each others worth,

They’d say we were the only people exactly like the other one, walking on this earth.

And we would call them sick and say they would change their mind if they had to share their room with…her.

Now I can say that they were right, and I’m glad they were.

Angela, you’re my best friend you know my secrets…I wonder if you knew.

We’ve spent out grown up years, trying to make up for the things we used to do.

But thoughts of locking doors and throwing shoes and words around, our small divided room,

makes me glad we made it through, makes me glad I have you.

Angela, when I was young…I wanted to be more like you…I still do.

I miss you Amy….thank you for writing this song. When I listen to it I feel just a little closer to Vermont where you are…..snowed in today.  J

Enjoy this images of these beautiful sisters photographed yesterday….
