Well Angela is back from a much needed vacation with her family. Everyone was able to attend…even the 3 oldest (with friends). We had a great time!
I promised the kids "no work mom!"….that meant no sessions or computer time. Ok, I worked a little bit, when no one was looking. I think it was good for me; I needed a little r and r. I did take some photos for fun. It felt wonderful to just get out and shoot. I really don’t get a chance to do that very much anymore. Those days as a photo student in college are long past! Life has me in a different place now.
There are some images from this past week….enjoy…

This past friday I had 2 shoots. The first was with a little one who I had photographed when she was tiny. I also photographed her mommy when she was pregnant. Ava has most certainly perfected the sit scoot. I got such a charge watching her get around the studio on her bottom! Happy 1st Birthday! Thank you Megan for bringing Ava to the studio! We had a great time together…I can not believe how she has grown! Here are some images from our session…
My second shoot was with a very special little girl named Kaia and her mom Kristina. I am associated with an organization called The American Child Photographers Charity Guild. The ACPCG is a non-profit, volunteer based organization of child photographers who have come together to form a guild dedicated to children in need and their families. I was blessed to spend time with Kaia and Kristina today for a special session…
This is their story…
During Kristina’s 3rd trimester, she sufferered a ruptured splenic aneurysm. This is an extremely rare condition but can be associated with the 3rd trimester of a pregnancy. Kaia had sustained a brain injury due to severe oxygen deprivation. She suffered Stage 3 Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy. This is the most severe form of oxygen deprivation. Because of this injury Kaia’s needs are great. She is currently in physical therapy as well as occupational therapy. She is fed entirely by a GJ feeding tube and has many special needs.
I am just amazed at the beauty of this little girl and the incredible bond between this child and her mom. It was truly a blessing to spend time with them and photograph little Kaia.
If you would like more information about Kaia, you are invited by her mother to visit her Care Page at…http://www.carepages.com/home.jsp?seed=485626&ClusterNodeID=jb02&tlcx1=chop&tlcx2=926165
Kaia’s page name is "kaiabear".
On September 22 there will be a "Beef and Beer" event to benefit Kaia at Keenan Motors in Doylestown, PA. Please check my blog soon for more information on the event!!!
Here is the sneak peek from yesterday’s shoot! This is my second visit with this great family…the little ones are a part of my baby plan. I am amazed at the changes in just a few months. They grow so quickly! These little ones are so cute and sweet. We had a great session together! Thank you MacD family!

For you Cathleen! Love it!!!
This past Saturday I was blessed to spend some time with 2 wonderful families. The first were celebrating the 90th birthday of a very special woman and the second was a family reunion located on a beautiful farm in Bucks County. As a photographer this is one of my favorite things to do! Here are some images from the day…

The following images are from a recent commercial shoot. My client…Lucy Goldstein is a Certified Shiatsu Practitioner practicing in the Philadelphia area as well as Buck’s County and surrounding areas. She can be reached via email @ shiatsu_healing@yahoo.com. Her website is being developed and I will have her new link as soon as it is live. At the end of our indoor session she offered to give me a acupressure massage. I can say enough how relaxed I felt. My life is so busy and the stress level can be large. I think I am a new client of hers!!
beautiful girl…
