Happy Mother’s Day to all the mom’s out there. I had a great one! I did miss my oldest who is still in college though, finals are almost over so he will be home soon. Got to relax and get my hands in the dirt, one of my most favorite things to do. I was able to make some progress in the vegetable garden which was a huge accomplishment given my schedule these days. My day consisted of…receiving wonderful cards from my kids (that always make me cry), a gardening shopping spree, a spectacular dinner, making chocolate covered strawberries and most importantly…I thanked the great women in my life for all they have done for me. I am blessed to have some exceptional women in my life. I love you all. xoxoxoxoxx
Below are a few snaps from today. I promised my kids "no work today mom!". These were for fun. Enjoy!!
She got her Mother’s Day present a day early. I am amazed at how nurturing the mother cows are. They love their babies, take care of them and are definitely protective over them. And I will tell you what…when the mamma’s call them, they come. My kid’s could learn something from the cows!
Once again…all I can say is that I work with the most wonderful people. The following images are from 2 of my sessions this week. The first ones are from an engagement session shot in my great town of Doylestown. We had a terrific time! I also had a student from a local high school "shadow" me for her Jr. Seminar that evening. She was wonderful to have on the shoot and really wants to pursue a career in photography. Good luck kiddo! Of course I photographed her also!
The second group of photos are from a session with a little guy I have been photographing since he was a baby. I love watching him grow! It seems like yesterday he was just holding his head up! The session was great, we started in the studio and ended up at the farm for a few shots. His Nana was able to come and it was great to have her along. I also have to add that his mom is so special. I always look forward to spending time with her as well. Thanks Shel.
Next week the pregnant mama’s come in! Be sure to visit my blog to see the session images!
