One of the things I love about what I do is spending time with terrific people. For as long as I have been a photographer every session always leaves an impression on me. I really love my job.

Thank you Sharma family.

I had the honor of photographing a wedding this past Saturday at Aldie Mansion in Doylestown for the most amazing couple. Being a part of this family union was a wonderful experience for me. So much love and commitment to becoming a new family. Here are some images from the wedding. Shannen and Joe…see you when you return from Italy! Ciao! Congratulazione!

Graduating class of 2008!

Only 1 year until you will be receiving your diploma like so many of your friends this spring. After all the hard work and sacrifice (ok and a lot of fun!) you will be taking the walk as well. It is the perfect time to schedule your senior session before all openings are booked. In the Central Buck’s area there are many great locations to photograph. The alleys and old buildings in Doylestown, Moravian Pottery & Tile Works and Fonthill Museum, New Hope, Delaware River, High Rocks Park, old garages, railroad tracks, and the farm of course. I also have a few secret locations that are perfect! Senior sessions are priced at $125 and include a studio session as well as the location shoots. The session fee includes my time and attention to your shoot, 75-80 proofs in an online gallery to view your images and to share with your friends and family. If you book your session by June 30th you will also receive 25 free wallets and a disk of images sized and enhanced for your own personal web use. Call for more information!

Great Session!

Here are a few from yesterday’s shoot. I photographed this wonderful family last year and was fortunate to be invited to their home for a second session and a new baby. We had a great time together as you can see…these little boys are extremely adorable! Chantel and Vince, thank you again for having me to your home.  You both will get a kick out of the last image. I had to include this one. lol

I have been tagged!

My photographer friend Jennifer tagged me (check out her blog…it’s great). Here are my 5 favorite things…in no particular order. I have to find some people to tag now!

Angela’s 5 favorite things!

1. The smell of clothes after being dried on the line.
2. Tomato sandwiches with fresh one’s from the garden.
3. Printing in the darkroom…yeah I’m still old school and proud of it.
4. Vintage movies.
5. Sitting outside with Jeff on summer evenings watching the little ones (and sometimes the big ones) catch lightning bugs.

My life is pretty simple…

Jayden

This little guy was so adorable during our shoot today. He knew exactly what to do for the camera. What a pleasure it was to photograph him! Beyond cute!!

Gotta love it…

I was looking through my image files and saw these. Thought I would post them in honor of the Triple Crown this month. Racing at it’s best!

1st wedding of the season!

The setting was one of the most beautiful estates in Buck’s County and the couple was amazing. It never fails…every time I shoot a wedding I cry. I have to have my assistant close by with the tissues. Here are some images from the special day. It has been a challenge for me to pick which ones to post on the blog!

Mark, Heather and Ella…thank you for letting me be a part of your day, God Bless.

Garden

I took a break from working in the garden today to get a few photographs. I love it here. These are the other babies I have photographed this week! The garden is such a place of peace for me. I have a huge weekend of work coming up so it felt good to get my hands in the dirt and get some things done. Bean planting tomorrow…

2:00am Thursday

It’s late…or early…it depends on how you look at it. It seems as if this is the best time for me to work. Proofed and uploaded 4 sessions, answered emails, cleaned the kitchen and did a load of laundry. All since around 10 pm.

Yesterday was a special day for me. My #1 son came home from college. It has been a year of transition for the both of us. Leaving home for a new experience for him and for me…my baby left! At first it was very difficult because of the obvious void, but as the time passed I realized that it is his time to grow and learn away from mama. I am so proud of him, he is an outstanding young man of great character and faith. He has such a compassionate heart and love for people.

The little ones were so excited with the anticipation of Nick coming home. We knew he was close because Rufio (family dog) can hear his truck a mile away. He was home for the summer…truck full of college life. Dirty clothes, books, a couch (I don’t even want to know where it came from), wet soccer shoes, and an array of Nerf weapons. He loves college life and I am happy for him.

Here is a photo of my first born taken upon his homecoming…turntable in hand.
