My #1 son returned from college early this morning. He was traveling from Harrisburg. The plan was that he was to leave early this morning (around 6 am) because of the traveling conditions. Well…sure enough he called at 1 am and told me that he was "hittin’ the road". Ok. He is 20 and thinks he know everything about driving in the snow and ice…IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT! Ok. Now, being the mom that I am there would be no way I could sleep. So…I got some work done, baked some cookies and watched Kingdom of Heaven. Violent but a great movie…I love epic big scale movies…especially with Liam Neeson. At 4 am my boy walked in. Gave me a hug said "thanks for the chocolate chippers mom" and fell asleep on the couch. I then went to sleep knowing he was home safe. When I woke up he was still on the couch looking like he was 8 again. The photo is of my boys…2 and 20. I am blessed……
