“Mrs. Darling first heard of Peter when she was tidying up her children’s minds. It is the nightly custom of every good mother after her children are asleep to rummage in their minds and put things straight for next morning, repacking into their proper places the many articles that have wandered during the day. If you keep awake (but of course you can’t) you would see your own mother doing this, and you would find it very interesting to watch her. It is quite like tidying up drawers.”
“You would see her on her knees, I expect, lingering humourously over some of your contents, wondering where on earth you had picked this thing up, making discoveries sweet and not so sweet, pressing this to her cheek as if it were as nice as a kitten, and hurriedly stowing that out of sight. When you wake in the morning, the naughtiness and evil passions with which you went to bed have been folded up small and placed at the bottom of your mind; and the top, beautifully aired, are spread out your prettier thoughts, ready for you to put on.”

Last week I received a call from a special client of mine. She asked if I could help her with a product shoot. When she explained her concept and product I told her “absolutely”! I completely fell in love with what she is doing and was excited to become involved.
Mairanne has created and designed a celebration box that is to be given as a gift to a young woman who is approaching puberty. As a mother of an 18 year old young woman I know how significant this time is. I wish I could have given my beautiful daughter this box when she was younger.
Here is an excerpt from her soon to be launched website…
“The Red Goddess™ Celebration Box is designed to be given as a gift to the young woman who is reaching puberty. This exclusive treasure box brings back a missing piece of history that dates back to biblical times, a time where women celebrated a girl’s first moon cycle. The Red Goddess™ Celebration Box contains special treasures that will encourage her to honor herself as she enters her new phase of womanhood.”
Box and contents…
A Solid Wood Fabricated Keepsake Box
Lavender Bath Salts
Celebration Tea
Comfort Herbal Pillow
Energy Leg and Foot Rub
Active Leg and Foot Spritz
Calming Body Myst

Saturday afternoon in Philly! I have been partnering with a wonderful boutique located at 113 South 13th Street, Scarlet Fiorella. As a part of the 2 year anniversary of the Midtown Village location I photographed some small customers who frequent the boutique. We had a great time!
More to follow on the blog and galleries for viewing as well.

This session had 2 purposes….some family photos, images of the very cute Sara and a headshot for Cyndi who has a book being released in the near future.
The weather was perfect at 7:30 am…and of course…as the minutes ticked away the clouds rolled in and increasingly became thicker. We had to work quickly! The session was fun and I enjoyed following Sara as she toddled from one end of the bridge to the other, many times. What a cutie!
Sneak Peek!

Cyndi…love this one! A.

The day was perfect for a session at the park! I am thrilled that spring is here. Yay!
Ava was so funny to watch. This little one has a strong spirit and reminds me of my oldest daughter, determined and……determined. I have photographed Ava since she was tiny, watching her grow through our sessions is wonderful. She is precious.
Here are a few from our time together today Megan.
Oh…note to blog readers. Can you caption the last photo for me? Please comment!
